Stats thus far . . .

1. We won our softball game last night! We only win if they are late games!

2. Didn't pull any muscles trying to win!

3. I got four days off in a row - I almost don't know what to do with myself.

4. I'm driving to Santa Cruz in a few hours - wish me luck!

5. I broke into my apartment pool/spa at 2am last night - best night ever!

6. My new hobby - dancing in my living room!


7. I've lived in Chico for a year now! it's bitter-sweet!

8. Sex in the City comes out today! I'm going to see it Monday!

9. My hairdresser has become my matchmaker - but i haven't called the newest contestant yet. . . oops

10. Current favorite wine - Polka Dot Riesling (at Target)

11. Current favorite restaurant - Christian Michael's in Chico

It's just an example of an outward appearance of letting people know you don't give a crap about what they think and you will keep your word to your employees! I have to to say 'Thank You' to John for knowing what Fun really means and being a co-worker that stands to his word!

It's hard to find that in people let alone people you work with!

• Having your 1 best friend


• 2 bottles of Wine


• Being served at a 4 star restaurant


• 1 jolt of creative energy


• Going Bra-less


• Getting your cigar lite by 2 strangers


• Having the camera no more than 10 feet away


• Any different scenery


• Laughing so hard it hurts


• Lending an hear even though you know what their going to say


• 2 More bottles of Wine


• $50 on getting your hair done


• Completely task’s in your time


• Driving 80 MPH to get there


• Discovering countless new epiphanies


• Talking without thinking then thinking about what you just said


• Not having to impress a damn person . . . but yourself

Seriously?

Okay so this might be because I'm already out of my mind for the night but I'm watching the 11 o'clock news and they are reporting how Chico is adapting for people to ride their bikes instead of driving cars to save on energy and gas prices. They spent a good amount of the news program to educate and encourage Chico citizens to start riding their bikes around Chico instead of driving their cars.

Then they preceded to the next news segment . . .

"A Chico resident suffered head injuries from an incident today involving a car striking a young women's bike. There are no details to which . . . " blah blah blah

Is this ironic to anyone else?

This is Nothing

Usually i can control the path of a situation
Usually i can amplify my thoughts into words in front of another person
Usually i can get what i want and leave with a simple goodbye
But then today - the reigns were everywhere but in my hands - i think i felt them whip across my face Possibly a long-time coming
I could hardly follow the conversation – lost in his latest words
I couldn't speak because i couldn’t think
I couldn't act upon my wants or walk away when cued
My shoulders heavy and my eyes locked
I don't know if i responded to anything he said
I don't know if i looked as fragile as i felt
He trumped my hand and played his suit
Did anything strike him as he walk away?
A curious heart? A 'what if' notion? A 'what did i do' sickness?
He hid behind the cowboy hat and let me walk away
What i am to him is not real
What i am to him is not me
therefore,
it is nothing

The Stat's

Here is the Stat's as of today . . .

1. Pulled my quad in my leg at softball yesterday

2. Played catcher and got a guy out but couldn't hit one to save my life

3. Realized my cowboy is not driving down the same road as I

4. It's almost a year since i moved from Fresno - for some reason that is weighing heavy on my mind

5. Taking time for myself this weekend!

6. In progress of making my apartment a home - wish me luck

7. My scars on my feet and knees are healing - i guess i forgot to tell you that story ;)

8. I told my mom i wasn't coming to town this weekend and it killed me - i miss her

9. I took over the scheduling for the sales floor at work which is a large responsibly - lovin' it

10. Still in need of some familiar and constant time with one person who still is unknown

11. Attended Relay for Life last weekend but found it difficult to really soak it up with work hanging over my head. Nevertheless, i had a small time to reflect which is always healthy.

12. Realizing why they call Chico 'Party Central'

13. Crystal's Graduation Photos were a success!

14. Borderline confused on the rest of my life . . .
