This is how you throw a surprise party:
1. Tell your friends how to brake into your house while you are out at dinner.
2.Text them throughout dinner to make sure all is going as planned
3. STALL! STALL! STALL!
As we drive back to our house the lights are off and there are no cars in sight (going as planned). (Sidenote: we only have a key to the bottom lock for the front door not the dead-bolt). Kara walks up to the door unlocks the bottom lock and tries to open the door . . . um . . . it's doesn't open! My friends locked the top lock! Kara looks back at me with the most confused look on her face and I can see her wheels turning trying to understand what the F is going on with her own house. The best part is she is still completely clueless at this point! As this is happening I am standing still just as lost as she is - I can't even think of anything smart to say! Kara brakes into the house (sorry i can not disclose how) then she unlocks the door for me while all lights in the house are still off except a small disco ball in the dinning room. As we stand in the streaming light Sam, Sarah, and Jamie stamped down the stairs is party hats! I thought Kara was going to karate-chop the intruders! It was Amazing!

A few hours later downtown
