1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage wereallowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.
7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.
9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
One of the saddest parts about our society is that...these arguments, before the humourous common sense, are the real reasons why people can’t accept gay marriages and they always go "straight" (haha) to No.10...which funny enough to me, is probably the last thing a gay couple is thinking about...while the "straight people," who are arguing against gay marriage, seem to be all over it. How interesting!
I can't take credit for this writting masterpiece (only the cartoon).
I took this from Sam, a friend of a friend.
I would add more to it but i don't think it needs anything else!

I agree 100%.this country was founded by 'unholy law breakers'. I for one believe on the phrase 'don't tread on me'. In other words everyone is free to do whatever, so long as they don't infringe on others rights or freedoms.
Again - so glad you can agree with me!
So, Katie and I just had a conversation about some of this stuff today, and here's the deal. I know it's your blog, but this seemed an appropriate place to rant-sorry! Let me regress...the deal is: people are annoying. What I mean is this. We all want people to believe in God. But we act like superficial, better-than-everybody, know-it-alls. And the thing is that even if we believe something is a 'sin', if I steal a candy bar, I'm not better than a murderer, because if God doesn't measure sin, who the heck do we think we are to judge everyone when we're that adulterous slut of person we are! So my advice is this, maybe people should stop talking, seriously shut up, and start looking like Jesus (remember that guy, Jesus, you know the one, the guy who hung out with sluts, prostitutes, adulterers, and murderers...recall now, yeah that guy), and stop pretending that He called us to do ANYTHING more than LOVE everyone, and start to heed that command! Who knows, we may actually understand each other a little better, and in the process, soften our hearts and meet some of the most amazing friends one could ever ask for!!!!!!!
Okay Sorry. I ranted!
Because of everything you wrote . . . i love you all over again!!! You ranting actually helped me! Why am i not surprised! LOL :)
Lol good because I love you too. It's funny-I kinda like that you have hard days because I get to talk to you more. Wow, how selfish can I be??? Love it!
